These bogies are a "Game changer" for us.

We have designed a new commercial bogie for our Excalibur locomotive.

Using 4 or 2 X 1Hp 24V motors from Italy.

 2 or 1 motor(s) on each bogie.

Good re-gen braking.

6.5" narrow gauge wheel sets, heavy duty suspension.

Chain drive with idler gears to stop any take up or backlash.

The rear bogie is fitted with a disk braking system.

This Excalibur is by far our most powerful locomotive to date.

Perfect for any large railway.

These bogies are 58Kgs each.

COMES WITH A 12 MONTH WARRANTY

The body is bolted to a full length precision CNC laser cut fully welded, powder coated black steel chassis.

The body has a "Step through" panel on both sides for ease of access, no doors to deal with.
The bogies are 6mm CNC laser cut steel, welded and powder coated black with outer steel roller bearings for stability.
All take up roller bearing axle boxes and wheel sets are independently sprung for very smooth running on undulating track.
The Excalibur takes 4 to 8 batteries (not included with loco) 2 in the front cab & 2/4 in the rear cab and as a  24V system.

The 12v circuit is taken from an inverter from the 24v supply.

Parking / Emergency hand brake fitted, 360amp control system, changeable front & rear, white & red LEDs as standard.

All wheel drive.
Motor set gearing is 7.7 to 1

Options available: Vacuum pump, gauge & switching fitted for the operation of club coaching stock, Internal 24V charging circuit with breaker. (No need to remove the batteries for charging) Own 24v charger required.

Our locomotives do not include batteries within the price, but we can have them ready for you to collect with your locomotive at extra cost.

Ready to run includes a painted body to your choice of livery (Within our own colour range),

windows & LEDs etc all fitted.

All internal electrics fitted including 24v control system, horn and plugs & sockets etc

and sound if ordered.
